Local usage monitoring
Pulse reads local Codex session files to extract task identifiers, project folder names, model names, token counts and account usage windows. Those files can contain conversation messages. Pulse does not upload conversations or usage, display message contents, or persist copies of them.
License activation
For the licensed edition, Pulse sends your license key and a generic device label (“Pulse on Mac”) to Dodo Payments. Later checks and deactivation send the key and activation ID. Dodo also receives standard connection information such as your IP address. The license key, activation ID, product identifiers and last successful check time are stored locally in macOS Keychain.
Purchases and this website
Dodo Payments processes purchases and maintains purchase and license records under its own privacy policy. Pulse never asks you to enter card or banking details inside the app. Website hosting and download providers may process ordinary access logs. We have not added advertising trackers, analytics or a mailing-list form.
Your choices
You can deactivate through Pulse’s License window to delete the local license record. Uninstalling the app stops local monitoring. Widget preferences are stored in macOS settings. Contact support about purchase records or other data requests; statutory retention requirements may apply.
